You "can" as the pan is NSF food grade and FDA approved; HOWEVER, it is NOT recommneded to do so. Though the A.T. Hotbox is seal tight, it is not guaranteed leak proof. While riding over different terrains, you food could spill. In addition, containers or bags are recommended so you have the option of cooking more than one item at a time.

Coolant from the motor is circulated through the nearly 30' stainless steel coil inside the A.T. Hotbox

Where your fan is set to turn on can affect the cooking process, ie 180*F vs 195*F. The fan is set to help the cool the motor, so the lower temperature you have it set to turn on, the longer your food may take to cook. 180* will take substantially longer to cook food than 195*. Something to keep in mind.

Soap and Water are the best cleaning solution for the inside pan, then wipe dry.

Yes - higher altitudes have shown meats to cooker faster (by about an hour based on testing at altitude above 7000'). Plan accordingly based on where you will be driving.

The A.T. Hotbox comes with a three (3) year limited product warranty.

*Raw potatoes - the cooker does not get hot enough to break down starches in potatoes to begin the baking prodess; HOWEVER, it does nicely heat pre-baked potatoes, mash potatoes, sliced and any other style you like. *Rice - cooking rice turns it into one big patty based on how rice is cooked. IT CAN however, also be reheated after it is initially cooked to add to your meals *Baked goods - need a temperature much higher than the motor should produce, so baking is not an option at this time.

The A.T. Hotbox is plumbed into the UTV's motor's bypass coolant line. ​ As the motor runs, it heats the element inside to temperatures hot enough to warm and even cook food safely. The temperature is determined by your motor's thermostat, but typically averages between 180-200 degrees F. Our specially designed mounting brackets make it easy to safely and securely fasten your Hotbox. For other models, use the four 1/4 20 rivnuts already secured in the bottom of the Hotbox. Once installed and mounted, all that's left is to load it up.. And hit the road!
